Peanut Butter & Cacao Energy Balls

Packed with protein, good carbs, healthy fats and fibre, these energy balls are the perfect on-the-go snack, before or after your work-out.


Make these with 5 simple ingredients!

Ingredients:

(makes about 32 balls)


  1. 200g almonds

  2. 400g dates (seedless)

  3. 4 tablespoons cacao powder

  4. 2.5 tablespoons peanut butter

  5. 2 tablespoons olive oil



Method:


  • Add almonds in the food blender and process until well crushed.

  • Add date and olive oil - pulse until fully mixed.

  • Add peanut butter and cacao, mix well until well combined and formed into a unified dough.

  • Take a tablespoon of the dough and roll into a ball

  • Store in the refrigerator.


*If the mixture is crumbly or too hard, add a little bit of olive oil, process and check it again.
