Dark-chocolate oat cake bites (*vegan*)

Indulge in these guilt-free Dark Chocolate Oat Cake Bites that are not only incredibly delicious but also vegan and made with 4 simple, staple ingredients. Free from sugar, butter, and eggs, allowing you to enjoy them while feeling good about your choices.




Ingredients:

  • 2 cups oats

  • 1/2 cup creamy nut butter of choice (we used a mix of peanut and almond butter)

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed well)

  • 1/4 cup good quality dairy-free dark chocolate (chopped)

  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, mashed bananas, peanut butter and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly until well combined. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate.

  3. Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a bite-sized ball. Place the balls on the lined baking tray, leaving space between them. Gently press down on each ball to flatten it slightly.

  4. Bake the oat cake bites for 10-12 minutes until they turn slightly golden. Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely on the tray.
