Easy oven-baked fish fillets

Try this delicious and healthy recipe when you are craving a taste of the Mediterranean.

Very easy to make and takes only 25 minutes!


  • 2 fish fillets (choose any fish you like and adjust cooking time accordingly)

  • Olive oil

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • Lemon cut into thin slices

  • Fresh thyme

  • Lemon pepper seasoning

  • Dried garlic

  • Salt & pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 180C.

  2. Line a medium-sized baking tray with aluminium foil and parchment paper.

  3. Drizzle some olive oil and place fish fillets in the centre.

  4. Sprinkle with fresh thyme and lemon pepper.

  5. Drizzle some olive oil and lemon juice (to taste) on top.

  6. Add the dried garlic to the fish.

  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Place a lemon slice on top of each fish fillet.

  9. Cover the baking tray with a baking sheet and enclose it with aluminium foil.

  10. Place fish fillets in the oven and bake for +/-20 minutes depending on the thickness of the fillets and type of fish.

*Pairing suggestion:

Tri-colour quinoa with sautéed asparagus, topped with fetta cheese.
