Today, we're excited to share a recipe for the tastiest protein chocolate chip cookies that will satisfy your sweet tooth without sacrificing your health goals.
These cookies contain protein and wholesome ingredients and are perfect for a mid-day snack or guilt-free dessert. So grab your apron, and let's get baking!
INGREDIENTS:
68g protein powder of your choice (preferably a neutral flavour like vanilla - we used almond protein by Amino Animo)
34g whole wheat flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1 tablespoon olive oil
85g honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
125g organic peanut butter (smooth)
dark chocolate chips
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
In a big bowl, combine dry ingredients: protein powder, flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together eggs, olive oil, vanilla, honey, and peanut butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix everything together.
Add chocolate chips to the dough and mix until combined.
Line your tray with a baking sheet.
Spoon the dough into cookies and lightly shape them with your hand placing them on the lined tray (the recipe should make 12-14 medium-sized cookies).
Bake for 12 minutes.
Let them cool completely before removing them from the baking tray.
Store in an air-tight container for 5 days or in the fridge for a week.
